What's your favourite cocktail?
Anything refreshing. A Gallo Rosito is perfect, it's a mix of ginger ale, summer berries and Gallo rosé wine. It's a really delicious, refreshing long summer drink.

Which restaurants are you a fan of at the moment?
I'm not a fan of anything too fussy or pretentious. My favorite place to eat out in London is a family-run Italian called La Famiglia. No fuss, just good, simple food cooked brilliantly naturally complimented by a glass of Gallo rosé.
Anywhere you'd really like to try?
I'd love to try Heston Blumenthal's Fat Duck restaurant in Berkshire. It goes against everything I traditionally like but fun for a one off.
What was the best meal you've ever had?
The best meal I've ever had was at a French restaurant in St Paul de Vence called La Colombe d'Or. The restaurant is stuffed full of Picasso paintings after he traded his work there for food in the early days of his career. The food is almost as good as the art.
What's your signature dish?
I'm a work in progress in the kitchen but I am getting better thanks to Nigella and Jamie. The most respectable thing I serve up is a roast chicken with all the trimmings.
What would you serve for a World Cup dinner?
Probably a platter of deli foods, along with glasses of Rosito for every one. Something that doesn't require me spending too much time in the kitchen whilst the game is on!
