We caught up with Zac Efron and his co-stars at the premiere of his latest film Me And Orson Wells, to talk about working on the film. It seems that doors have been flung wide open for the High School Musical Star to make his name in Hollywood. Efron says about working on the film, “It was a great opportunity, one that I didn’t know I would ever get again. It was a chance to work with Richard Linc Adams, who’s one of my idols one of my heroes, Claire Danes, who’s just absolutely phenomenal. And make a great movie about an American icon, so I was really thrilled to even be offered a part like this and very flattered.”
Zac’s co-stars were quick to praise his performance. Christian McKay, who plays Orson Welles in the film says, “He’s a lovely guy, you know, 22, incredibly talented, he can dance, he can sing. So he’s a great guy and it was a pleasure to work with him, and to boss him around.”
Leading lady Claire Danes said Zac proves himself as an actor in the film, “The ladies like him, it’s true, but he’s also incredibly talented, he’s a really, really fine actor I think and I think everybody gets to discover that in this movie, he’s so wonderful in it.”
