Pierce Brosnan has explained he took his role in Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief because he hadn’t been offered a part in a Harry Potter movie. Watch the full video interview below.
“The Harry Potters I adore,” the Bond actor told handbag.com in our exclusive video interview. “I’d see all these great actors appear in Harry Potter, and I thought, ‘Why aren’t I in Harry Potter? I want to be in a Harry Potter.’ But, here I am in Percy Jackson.”
Brosnan also confessed he felt silly in his CGI blue tights while working with the younger actors. “The blue tights have to be worn because they have to CGI in your horse’s arse,” he explained, adding. “It’s just not a cool look. When you’re out with all the studs, all these 19, 20-year-old dudes who want to be the next Brad Pitt.”
