We caught up with Penelope Cruz at the premiere of her latest film Broken Embraces. The actress dressed in Bottega Veneta exclusively told us about the fun she had dressing up as some iconic Hollywood stars, and confessed Meryl Streep is one of her favourite actresses. “You can see in the movie that they do this homage to all these different actresses, like Marilyn and Audrey Hepburn,” Penelope told us. “I love Meryl Streep.”
After making four films with Penelope we asked director Pedro Almodóva if he considered the actress his muse. “Well yeah. If a muse is someone that makes you better than you are,” he laughed. “She gives me a kind of confidence because she’s ready to do everything that I ask. So it makes me feel stronger and more confident in myself.”
