The release of Twilight in 2008 was a huge deal, but it seems Robert Pattinson wasn’t sure about the reaction he’d get in the UK. “It’s quite shocking, I was really worried that I’d come back here and there’d be like 10 people and no one’s heard of it. I remember when I was doing the Harry Potter premiere, you know I couldn’t care less. No one cared about me, they only cared about Daniel, so it was much easier.”
The actor, who plays Edward Cullen in the movie adaption of Stephanie Meyer’s hugely popular book series, also told MyMovies how he decided how to play Edward. “I kind of thought, he still has the mentality of a 17-year-old, but he’s had 100 years of experience. So, you know he’s kind of resentful of everything, he’s just bored. So that’s kind of how I went about it.”
