Trelowarren Estate
The Trelowarren estate in Cornwall is famous for its sustainable holiday homes, but you don\'t have to be a greenie to find this place stylish. It\'s all very luxurious and that includes the pool. From March to October it\'s heated to 28C degrees by a carbon-neutral heating system and it\'s lined with river pebbles. If you get bored of the pebbles, lounge on a deckchair and enjoy a glass of wine from the New Yard Restaurant while feeling far, far away from city-life and stress.

The Grand Hotel
Grand, indeed. This elegant Victorian hotel right on Eastbourne\'s seafront is home to an equally elegant outdoor pool that will take you back to when gentlemen were real gentlemen and swimming costumes covered your entire body. When you don\'t dip your toes in the pool\'s cool water, sip English white wine and flirt with the waiters on the terrace. If it\'s good enough for Churchill and Chaplin - which it was - it\'s good enough for us.

Tinside Lido
What\'s a Top 10 cool pool list without a lido? Admittedly, it\'s a little difficult finding a stylish one of the kind, but Plymouth\'s Tinside Lido proves that they do exist. It\'s a renovated 1935 Art Deco Lido with a Grade II Listed Building status and right by the sea. When it opened in 1935 it was hailed as "one of the finest open-sea bathing centres in the country" and was often used for beauty competitions.
