Lomography Diana F+ Camera
Forget giving this retro, colourful camera as a gift, I want it for myself. This 60s-style cult snapper creates hazy, radiant, low-fi images and comes in a limited edition azure blue, yellow and hot pink finish. It also boasts an old-school electronic flash that fires a burst of white light at your subject. Pap-pap. I know what Im getting my budding photographer brother for Christmas.

Keith Richards autobiography
Its the music autobiography Ive been waiting for: Rolling Stones guitar legend Keith Richards new book, Life. Promising to offer an eye-popping insight into the decadent life and rock n roll excess of one of the worlds biggest rock stars in one of the worlds most iconic bands, I, for one, am expecting lots of juicy anecdotes from this eagerly anticipated rock chronicle. Perfect for music loving dads too.

The Secret In Their Eyes
Ive been wanting to see this film as soon as it won the Best Foreign Language Film at this years Oscars. Its out on DVD in the next few weeks and is an ideal stocking filler for lovers of art house films. The Argentinian crime thriller (original title El Secreto de Sus Ojos) tells the story of a retired policeman (played by Ricardo Darín) who writes a novel based on an unsolved murder, and cuts between past, present and imagined memories as he obsessively pursues the truth.
