Eye up

This handy palette of lush greens, shimmering metallics and a pop of violet is all you need for sexy holiday eyes. "Apply one layer lightly with a brush for a sheer sheen, or layer up for dense gilt." says Lisa - or create a bright version of a smoky eye by layering the violet and silver and finishing with blacker than black mascara.

Tropical tan

With this one-day tinted gel bronzer for face, you can work a bronze goddess look one day (pair with a animal-print bikini), and revert to porcelain princess the next (with a fifties style one-piece, perhaps). Start with a little and build up until you achieve the colour you\'re after: "Its light texture and oil-free formulation will leave your skin glowing beautifully," says Lisa.

Bright-eyed

These waterproof Metallic Eye Pencils are the quickest route to a stay-put poolside look. Line eyes top and bottom with the pretty ocean-inspired shades, smudge to soften the lines and finish with waterproof mascara. Get lippy

Boost your bikini look with a high shine shock of electric pink lip gloss: "This will protect your lips while enhancing them with a tint of shimmering, glossy electric pink - keep it in your beach bag at all times!" says Lisa Eldridge. Why not turn heads by matching your nails with a hot pink varnish?

Pretty protected

It\'s really important to stay safe in the sun, so opt for no less than a factor 15 and make sure you reapply regularly. Go for glow

"Apply the bronzer where the sun would normally fall on your face - your forehead, cheeks, chin and the tip of your nose," advises Lisa - if you\'re baring the flesh poolside, dust on to shins and the decolletage too.

Fake it

Before you expose yourself to the sun, get a tan the safe way - by faking it. Not only is a bronzed glow super-slimming, it\'ll give you bags of confidence by the hotel pool. This formulation builds up to a healthy glow, but don\'t forget you\'ll still need to load your skin with SPF before you hit the sun loungers.

Glamour girl

If you\'re more into lounging than diving, you might want to up the ante make-up wise. Coral lipstick couldn\'t look better than with a deep tan and white bikini, and the intensity of this one is incredible. "Use a brush to apply thin layers, to make the colour last even longer," says Lisa.
