Ideas to make the reception a little different??

Hi all I new on here and at the first stages of planning my wedding. Looking at ceremony in Rome next Sept and party back here. Have you any ideas of touches that will make the reception here a bit different?

Things like Elvis Impersonator / Chocolate fountain etc but was hoping for even better than that as I am out of inspiration!!!

Hi ya

How about circus style entertainment? You can have fire performers, jugglers, magicians... fun, but to everyone's taste for a wedding, I guess. I'm always a fan of firworks and stuff like that :-)

You could go for the whole 'Love Actually' idea and have actors/musicians hidden amongst your guests or the waiting staff? They then wait until a certain point and break into song. There's a company called Incognito (http://incognitoartists.com/) who specialise in that kind of thing.

Or you could have a hog roast? Firebreathers are a great idea, you could go for contortionists as well for a circus theme. Or a burlesque act if your guests won't be offended!
