Well, a little update on Saturday night's date number 2 with date number 2!

Had a great night, were the last to leave the restaurant, and then went to a club and were last to leave there too!  Some serious chemistry going on, and really good fun.

He walked me home and didn't leave till 5 in the morning.  Things got a bit frisky, but not overly so.

All good.

Going out again tomorrow!!!

Only fly in the ointment is that he has sent me a couple of texts which are a bit over-frisky.  I'm no prude but he was explicit in them and it has put me off a bit.  Hmmmm.

Am I just being silly to be put off???

"and that's all i have to say about that..."

I don't think so - that kind of thing isn't gentlemanly or suave, it's just a bit chav. I would tend to ignore messages like that and hope he gets the hint.

Sounds like he is VERY into you and that's great that you had a such a good time.  How did you respond to the texts or have you?  Think you need to let him know that he needs to stop if it is bothering you. Don't think you are being silly at all, it would put me off too. If you say something now, hopefully he'll redeem himself on the next date.  I'm sure it's just that he's got a bit carried away, maybe he'd had a couple of drinks when he sent them??

I dont think your being silly at all, if it doesnt make you feel comfortable then you should tell him so. Perhaps he just got carried away if things got a bit frisky and thought that it would be ok to carry it on. If you havent replied yet, perhaps send a message saying you had a lovely time, didnt mean for things to go so far but that you would be interested in meeting again soon if he is interested... That should be enough to get him back on track without putting him off altogether.

Sounds very positive overall though, and he obviously likes you!

I don't think it sounds silly, this really puts me off too.

I think it's because it makes me think he's only after one thing. I think it's ok to send those sorts of texts when you've been with someone a while, but before you've even had sex....It kinda makes sex sound less special in a way (I don't think thats the right word, but hopefully you see what I mean).

I'd just reply with something normal, like 'ha ha, hope you're having a nice day' (depending on what he said of course) xx

Yes I agree with LadyV, it's a bit early for any kind of sexy text, and it does suggest he's only after one thing.  I wouldn't respond and would wait until he sent a text he'd written with his thumbs and not his penis.

Hey Sats .. really glad to hear date no 2 went well with man no 2 ... and excellent that you have date no.3 arranged for tonight WOO HOOO

Regarding his texts ... if you are feeling uncomfortable about them ... when you meet up tonight just casually say ... "oi you, what's with the saucy texts" and then make light of it ... the fact that you brought it up with let him know you weren't comfortable with them and maybe he'll just reply something along the lines of ..  we had such a   great time the other night and I'd had a  couple of sherberts when I sent them and if I offended you, I'm sorry ... kinda way :-)   (hopefully)

Have a  good night tonight though.... waiting to hear all about it tomorrow!

Jx

I'd say the above to him, especially if it made you feel uncomfortable.  Some women like this and others don't and if you don't tell him, he's not to know and it would be a shame for this to put you off, when you clearly have a connection with him and enjoyed the time you've spent together so far.

Thank you lovely baggers, you are all right!

I think that maybe beacuse things did get frisky he thought he had the green light to carry it on....and in a way, i guess he did?!

I responded with an "Easy Tiger..." text and he has cut out the saucy stuff on the text so hopefully that was enough of a hint.  I agree that there is a place for "text sex" but not straight away!!

Anyway, I have told him that it can't be a late one tonight and he responded that he was just looking forward to "a quiet drink and some conversation" so that seems to have reset the boundaries.  Will mention it this evening as you have all suggested, just in a "phew, things got a bit steamy there, your texts threw me off balance a bit..." and see where we go from there.  We did have a great time, so I won't write him  off just yet...

xx
