Help with text convo with guy I met last night!

Met a seemingly lovely bloke at a wedding yesterday, exchanged numbers and he has text, but no date has been arranged so am a bit mystified as to why he has text if he doesn;t want to meet again! He asked what I was up to today and I replied and said what my plans were. I then went on to ask him what he was up to during the week and he said he was busy Saturday but no plans other than that, and asked me the same. I then replied and said what my plans were for some days and that I didn';t have plans for other days (meaning hint, hint, we could go on a date!!) and now NOTHING!!! |

Twinkley I love your stories you have the most lively love life! He probably just needs a bit of a shove -sometimes they can just be a bit useless at the final hurdle of actually asking. Why don't you just ask him? x

I was speaking to the bride about him and she said he used to be incredibly shy but has really come out of his shell in the last years, however I did get the impression he felt a bit awkward when initially asking for my phone number. The trouble is if I now have to text and ask him out, that means me texting him twice in a row, which is surely a terribly rule to break so soon!!! ;) Do I just text and ask anyway, or play it cool and wait...? Angelina - I wish my life was as exciting as it seems on here - most of the time it's really dull hence why whenever anything vaguely exciting does happen I have to come straight on here and tell you all about it!!! |

You have a new bloke prospect every other week Twinks, don't knock it! Leave it tonight then text him tomorrow, how about something along the lines of "So...when are you going to ask me out then?"

ooh i see an opportunity waiting to be grabbed! give it a few days then drop him a casual text along the lines off ' hey - how's your week going? if you've still nothing planned for x night - fancy going for a drink?' nothing ventured nothing gained and all that! |

OK, I have decided that I WILL text and ask him out, so am just holding out for a bit so I don't look overkeen texting him too soon! Might buckle and text him evening but ideally will hold out until tomorrow. At the time I was feeling quite confident that he did want to see me again but now Im having doubts so am actually dreading asking him now! |
