I think matras and the like are a big pile of poo. If you want to make your life better, if you want to feel better about yourself get out there and make it happen. Actions speak louder than words after all.

I agree. Some people's lives are a pile of sh1t and aren't that lovable either and it will make them feel no better burying their head in the sand.

I think there's an argument that cognitive restructuring precedes behavioural change but usually I'd agree it is the other way around, behavioural change generally comes first.
