Excellent! I wouldn't expect the AAT to be in direct contact with you - I do, however, suspect that they will be asking the college some very awkward questions!!

Thanks for your advice.

I'm trying to progress with the report but its a big uphill struggle. I'm finding myself tearful and upset trying to get into it.

The college tutor is saying that they are acting in my best interests - I realise that but they don't really understand that I'm trying my best to get up to their standards.

At the moment I feel its way above my head - writing a business report is very different from writing these posts on Handbag.

Good job I have a bad ankle and its showery here - I should be enjoying the summer.

I'm not going back to college in September to do another course - I just want to enjoy my 40th year without any hassles regarding college.

Everytime I go back to it - I don't feel in a mood to do it and I have to concentrate really hard. I also have to concentrate really hard at work as well as they have introduced new procedures.

Still I shall be glad when its over in early August hopefully so that I can enjoy August.

Hi everyone

I have finished for the weekend. I feel that my lack of motivation is due to the fact I feel overwhelmed at the moment.

If it was term time I would have gone into the special needs section and asked for help.

Its going to be a long haul thing before I'm finished. I need a lot of help just to get myself moving.

Hi everyone

I've managed to get people on my side - a few have offered to check my English and structure in the report. I will do it when it comes back from the tutor.

The tutor is on my side as he thinks that the internal verifiers standards are way too high!

So there could be things moving forward at last. I just want to finish this so that I can focus on other stuff.

hi pf,

I'm glad things are coming together. You'll get there.

I know you haven't had things easy in your life, and I know there are times when you struggle. But this line bothered me - I've managed to get people on my side. It makes it sound as though you're a conspiracy theorist, when I honestly think it's a c*ck up. What's happened at college isn't personal, they are just incompetent. They're not deliberately out to get just you!!

I know Potion's offered to help with spelling and grammar, and if you want me to have a look over it at any time from the point of view of knowing what assessors look for, give me a shout and I'll pm you my email addy.

Good luck

BJx

Glad to hear that things are progressing - even though it must seem awfully slow. Keep us informed :) hope it is all done and dusted soon.

I must tell you I'm no conspiracy theorist - just a student who wants to achieve and pass her course.

The tutors are not out to get me - in fact quite a few people have offered to help as I'm really stuck.

At the moment a tutor is reading my work. There is an English specialist in the Special Needs dept who is on standby to help out when its needed.

I can't do anything until the tutor forwards my work back to me.

Thanks for your post.
