HI everyone Update the internal person has gone on leave and don't expect to hear from him again this month. However he has reassured that the incompetent person is best qualified to deal with my report in his absence - I think that the college is trying to cover up for their inadequacies. I asked him about English help and he said my English is Ok but one or two things do not make sense. Also he said that they had only had chance to look at my report last week and give me feedback. I should have had feedback during term time. I'm going to try AAT and see what they say because I think they are panicking with me and making me flustered. I'm not stupid - I can read between the lines. I'm glad I'm talking about it and I aim to get it finished by 1st wknd of Aug still. |

How he can tell you first that you haven't passed after all because the tutor didn't understand the assessment requirements, then tell you that while he's away the self same tutor is the best person to help you, defies belief. Only a gut feeling of mine, but I sense that they're hoping you'll just let it go and not make a fuss, because they know they're in the wrong (badly so) and they don't want it to come out. HI Billie Jay I agree with you there. I have been in that situation before so I can recognise the signs. I've emailed AAT explaining the situation and asked them for advice. |

Let me know what the AAT say. If I was in your tutors' position (which I never have been and I swear I never will) I'd be moving heaven and earth to make things right for you. |

Hi everyone Still no news. I'm going to look at the report tonight. I have a very weak area so I have got the original paperwork out to make sure that the figures are accurate. I'm also finding work frustrating as well - I don't want to elaborate problems on here. |

Hi everyone I've not heard from the AAT - I emailed them. Within hindsight I should have phoned them. Right I had another look at the report and kept all the drafts. I have sent an updated version to the tutor. I wish that I could do more about it as I really need to finish asap as I have other plans for the summer. Also things are not easy at work - thats another story. |

Hi everyone Good news someone is looking at my revised report atm and giving me feedback. I don't have big hopes and I hope things will move forward. I'll await the response midweek so I can relax a bit. Pity I have other issues in my head atm.

Hi everyone The situation has been sorted! Someone from my local college has been on a training course with the AAT. He is bending over backwards to help me so I'm right on target for 1st weekend of August. There are a few problems with the report - English and coherence mainly so I'll be tapping away on my computer doing the upteenth task of writing it. The tutor said Im making progress but its not quite finished. |
