I like a guy, but hes not long been single!

Hey, dilemma people, started chatting to a guy on dating site 3 days agoa dn since then we been sending lots of essays about each other, long emails! Just added him on msn to make it easier and added him on facebook, i love facebook for the fact you see more about people than on a dating site. However we mentioned about previous relationships and he broke up with his ex 5 weeks ago! this is a no go area right? most likely a rebound? |

Agree with choc. It could have been a non-starter, long overdue in ending. Would def tread with caution, protect yourself by getting to know him slowly and trust your instincts. Treat him as a friend, it takes all the pressure off and see where it goes. |

Just take things slowly and get to know him as a friend first. You don't have to build things up into the love affair of the century! Just take things nice and easy. You can never change another person: you can only change yourself |

So you mean you want to carry on getting to know him through emails rather than meeting up? I don't think that's a good idea to be honest, people are rarely the same in person compared to how they come across in an email or photos. You will build up an idea in your head of him and think that you like him, and you may be surprised by how he really is in person. You should definitely meet him sooner rather than later.

I think it's better to meet him (as a friend) sooner rather than keep emailing/ chatting online. I just don't think you really can get to know him much better without actually meeting up, and you could be emailing each other for months but it doesn't mean that there's going to be anything between you when you actually meet. Meeting face to face doesn't mean you have to stop taking it slowly, just meet for a coffee and a chat as friends. |

you make a good point, i might meet in sometime in the next few weeks, i see what your saying, so if i dont like him as much as i thought at least i know and im not ultimately thinking that i lijke him when in reality i might not like him. |
