We just had a talk and we both feel so much better ! I do have a way of saying things where it sounds like im creating a big issue or im upset (when im not) and where ive tried sending her mails to not hurt her feelings and come across nice, ive actually made it worse (exes told me this to, i should just be more blunt and not try and save feelings to the point of writing an essay) We both got our thoughts out and points across and I *think* we both feel much better now. We get on well so i dont want this to ruin the friendship and i dont want her to move out, so will see how it goes now. Thanks for all your comments, the last 4 weeks have been great it was just this weekend him over alot and then the keys which got me thinking about, so hopefully it will be fine now. I cant expect her to think like me but its just about consideration isnt it, which i think she'll do more of Glad we chatted face to face though xx |

Glad you seem to have got it sorted. Confrontation isn't always nice but it's always better when things are out in the open and you can try to reach a solution.

When I lived with my housemate I made sure I shared the time Mr Jess and I spent there and at his (he also had a single bed). To be honest, this is making you miserable - I would threaten to move or have her move if it doesn't change. It's just not fair on you.

Pokes, I know I'm late to this thread but well done for sorting it and for the record, no you were not being unfair at all and I hope she sticks to her side of the bargain. It would freak me out too tbh!
