I have had a shit day. Found a mouse late last night, slept very badly on the sofa. Couldnt cycle as burst a tyre on bike, I'm not good tired. Was having a stressful work day, getting in a panic. Had a powercut in my area so couldnt get on with work. Had headache.

Work Guy was around at end of the day, and we were only doing work related things, and just chatting but it felt it was getting close to the line again. He had a shit day yesterday (related to his baby he lost a hiwle back), so we were chatting on sofas at work. He was hinting to go out for a drink, I knew it. Others were going, so it wouldnt just be the two of us, but I knew it just wasnt smart. I can tell by the way he looks at me, and gives me little gifts most days (chewing gum, fruit etc).

So I said no, and was firm, but I really wanted to feel better, so I guess I';m trying to feel pride in myself for doing the right thing when I wanted to do the wrong thing.

You know when a big male hug could make the world seem less scary.........

Well done, Chocjo, it would've been so much easier to give in and go for a drink with him given the day you've had but you were a strong independent woman- go you, you Beyonce style lady Smile Hope tomorrow is a much better day for you.

The right way, is more often than not, the hardest.
The path of least resistance would lead to a whole heap of 'and then some', so stay on message.
Still feels like a big bag o shite though - any wine and chocolate about to help??

You and I, shall be friends until we are old and senile.
Then, we shall be NEW friends !!

Wine and chocs (in a mediumly moderated dose) are scientifically proven to be part of any good food/good health diet.

I did have a raw food bar based on cocoa....was ok.

I have been manically tidying to try and sort mice out, which has helped - in the way exercise does but also just feel in control again.

Feeling much more my normal self. There are currently no mice in my room, I will stuff wool under crack in door, and should be able to sleep more normally. Still imagining them everywhere, but better than sofa downstairs.

You don't always need to be good. Everything in moderation and as long as you're not having a shitty day every day then going home and deep throating a fullsize Toblerone before burying your face in a Dominos, I think you're alright...

I agree, but considering I had only had one good day so far, I didnt want to break it so early! I'm trying to break the sugar craving.

Feeling much better now.

Jo you are being so strong - well done! But I'd say give in to that desire for food wot is bad for you if you really need it. One day won't make much difference and if you've been really 'good' in some areas it's not so bad for you to be naughty in others. I hope you feel better today. x
