Are you moving too Annabobs? Why do we do it to ourselves? I keep looking at my For Sale sign and thinking how many ways I could use it as an offensive weapon. I could batter one with it, or just stab them with the pointy end.... Grrr

i have been moving since july. my estate agent is actually cool, he's done a really good job (keatons btw, i would recommend them). but the agent from the house i am buying is a total dick - he missold the house on the sales literature, wants us to contribute to the seller redoing the lease cos she messed it up and didnt include the cellar (but it was sold to us as being part ofthe property) ach, hes an idiot. a cowboy idiot. whats yours doing wrong angie? i have been asking other agents advice on my 2 agents and been getting pretty honest answers

Oh my selling one is fine, she's really lovely. I'm having boundary issues and my buyer is being a bit of a knob but the agents are dealing with the solicitors and everything, she is at least doing something to earn her fee! It's the other ones. I offered on a house before - it was declined then accepted then I got gazumped. Fair enough but they were really secretive about the whole thing and went from saying yes all fine to oh no tough luck within a couple of hours - despite the fact they'd been talking to the other buyer all day. Then THEN I saw another house which was being sold by someone who works there. Made me wary but I said to him I'd been dicked around once don't do it again. So he accepts my offer, all ok then THEN THEN he rings me to say he'd accepted a lower offer than mine but it's cash. So I'm back to square one AGAIN. And the worst thing is they list all the houses I want so I have to go through them. I just want to move and be done with it. Rarrrrghhhhh. I like Satsy's idea I can picture him all cartoon squished.
