Quiet - What happened?!

I used to use these forums quite a bit a few years ago - then work took over from uni and I never found the time to keep it up! Its just struck me how quiet the boards are these days though - where did everyone go?? |

Hi Little Miss Naughty, I was thinking the exact same thing. I used to 'bag a lot and then life took over. I've just come back in the last few weeks and have been amazed how quiet the boards are and how few of the old baggers are around.  I've kept an eye open for folk from the old days: Leather&Lace, Cran, BitchfromHell, Chocolatedrop, Tundra Lim, Jetbedlam, Stewart, AmbertheCat, Tracyb, Gizmo but they don't seem to be here.  I wonder if social networking sites like facebook have taken over to some extent? Your name's familiar from the old days.

Well the Bag had a 'revamp' a month or so ago and as a result it became a lot less user friendly so lots of people went away sadly. Some of us are still here trying to learn to love it again...

Well the Bag had a 'revamp' a month or so ago and as a result it became a lot less user friendly so lots of people went away sadly. Posted by Potion As I'd been away for so long I hadn't realised that the revamp was so recent. I used to love handbag and have met some fabulous people on here over the years. It's sad to see it so deserted. |

Posted by *Wave_Dancer* I see L&L and Giz regularly, will tell them you were asking for them. They post occassionally on The Mock Turtle. Choccie does too, but under a different name. Stewart left a couple of years ago after going very weird, and making up stories about a girlfriend, an engagement and a breakdown, and that got very messy, especially for a couple of Baggers. The rest, I can't tell you about. |

I do hear from L&L occasionally by text but haven't heard from the others in years. It's a shame about Steart. I might try to find Turtle in order to say Hi to Chocolatedrop, what name does she use over there? Tell L&L and Gizmo to get their butts back on here! |

Hi everyone! Just thought I'd put my tuppenceworth in. I agree the boards seem much quieter than they were. I used to enjoy the PCs and Gadgets & Jokes boards in particular but they don't appear to attract as much interest as they used to. Maybe people are moving to Facebook and similar sites instead? That said I prefer asking/answering questions on forums like this rather than social networking sites. Here's hoping some new members join and liven things up again soon! Cheers shuckie xx |
