I remember a thread about Book Crossing quite a while ago. I think it was CJ?

I was in my local pub the other day when I found a book I had a flick through and saw it was a book crossing book, which is where you find a book, read it and then pass it on. I was quite pleased as I've never found one before. It was Black Swan Green by David Mitchell, I really liked Cloud Atlas by him.

CJ, and anyone else who has found one, what did you do with it when you read your BC book? I don't want to leave it somewhere where it will get thrown away.

Never heard of book crossing jyh, but I have read Black Swan Green and really liked it, although not as much as Cloud Atlas. Did also read Number9 Dream by Mitchell and really struggled with it! So so violent in places.

Good writer though :D

Oh for God's sake. It says that there is a reply but when I click on the thread there's no reply. Why is HB still so broken, all these months on?Yell

Yep it was me. I think good places are long train journeys, coffee shops or busy cafes/pubs. If your office is big or a shared building you could try somewhere there.

I'm quite jealous - I love the idea of Book Crossing but I've never found one either.

A guy opposite me on the tube had a BC book had a little ID sticker on it - it was about business and how to become a millionaire or summit...

I would go for tubes, airports or train station cafes to release the book in. Never heard of the author before, might take a look myself =)
