I know there have been a plethora of Uggs threads on here over the last 3 years, but I'm a virgin to Uggs so hope you don't mind me posting.

Just wanted to get your opinions really. The conundrum is thus: I like both tall grey Uggs and grey cardigan Uggs (see piccies below) and have found them online for a fantastic price. Some questions though:

-My figure is curvy, size 10-12, with a round J-Lo bum and thighs. Therefore, if I wear Uggs with black leggings and some sort of long top, will I look like a stunted dwarf?
-Is it wrong to be put off of them a bit because all the evil hoodie girls around here have them? :cmdunno:
-Do they make your feet sweaty?
-Which are better, normal or cardigan?

Thank you please

 Can't comment on the cardigan ones as never tried them but i wear my tall chestnut uggs without socks & they never get sweaty. I have the tall chestnut ones & think they are are a bit more flattering (on me anyway), being longer they cover up & don't cut your leg off too much. I wouldnt be put off them by anyone as i think they are so comfortable, like slippers & they go with a lot. I love the grey ones :)

I have the short chestnut Uggs & wear them with no socks (no sweaty feet either).
I think the tall grey ones are lush & will be flattering.
Can't comment on the cardi ones but from a practical point of view I don't fancy their chances in a downpour.:)

Alright chick

-My figure is curvy, size 10-12, with a round J-Lo bum and thighs. Therefore, if I wear Uggs with black leggings and some sort of long top, will I look like a stunted dwarf?
I think they'd look fine I've only seen the longer cardi version and they are lovely. I think maybe they'd be a good bet? Elongating and all that?

-Is it wrong to be put off of them a bit because all the evil hoodie girls around here have them?
Nah. Sod 'em :D

-Do they make your feet sweaty?
No. I usually don't wear socks with my Kiwis (NZ Uggs) and they keep my feet warm.

-Which are better, normal or cardigan?
Normal will withstand this weather much, much better than the cardi ones. Though I do like the cardi version... (soz, not much help there!)

Could I jump in on this pretty please?

Lucy I'm also after a grey pair to replace my destroyed tall chestnut ones (def go for tall grey I reckon and sod the chavs ;) ) but don't know where to buy from. Would you be able to pm me the site please? It's been a good couple of years since I bought uggs so I'm a little out of the loop.

Hey Slinky

Thanks for everybody's thoughts so far. I hadn't even thought of the rain element while wearing the cardi's . Maybe the taller ones would be more flattering on my curvy legs?

I was really put off too Lucy by the chav factor for a long time but then I guess how you dress and who you are will detract from that and if you like them, get them!

I can't see the cardi ones offering much support and I think I'd feel like I was standing on a sole with a jumper sleeve flapping around my leg :cmdunno:

I caved in and bought the short black ones and whilst I wear mine with socks, I have gone barefoot once and ended up with black feet but never sweaty. I haven't taken mine off since :o

I'd go for the tall grey ones!

I prefer the talls ones.

Can't offer anymore advice as I don't have Uggs. I'm getting Emus for Christmas though :)
