Yes please, me too!  I am planning on starting ML the week before my due date so maybe the similarities will lead to similarly easy births *hopes like mad*

Thanks everyone.

Events really did take us over, we had no control over anything, the only parts of my birth plan which happened were no drugs apart from gas and air and a natural third stage; no injection for the placenta. We also got to have a good look at the placenta afterwards which was, well, interesting!

I don't know how much is a normal amount of fluid when waters break but there seemed so, so much I wonder if the amount of water and the force of the water speeded up the labour.

Marina - I wasn't that surprised at not getting contractions straight away as this had been talked about in my NCT class, I was more interested in looking in the mirror to see how the lack of fluid had changed my bump!

Foxy, are your photobox 'instructions' still the same now the forums have changed?
