Although I feel guilty about it (because the sun is shining so brightly today) I'm heading to the cinema tonight.  The film I'm seeing is at 9pm, so I will only be missing a few hours of daylight, and it's The Hangover. But boy, did I have trouble choosing which film to see!

Which films are you guys all looking forward to this summer? What do you think will be your ultimate Summer blockbuster? Or have you already seen it - one of those films that will remind you of the summer of 2009,  and the company you're with?

The films I'm really looking forward to are:

Transformers 2 (Just let me get The Hangover out the way, and it's next on my 'to do' list)
Harry Potter (I'm an avid fan, I just find it hard to find someone to go with me)
Inglorious Basterds (Just from the hype!)
500 Days (Just because it looks like a feel-good summer movie)

Your turn...

Went to see Drag Me To Hell last night and it was very amusing.

I want to see the new Transformers film but that's about it.

I loved Drag Me To Hell - I was so confused at first, I couldn't tell if I was meant to be scared or terrified!! It was a first class horror movie, and I loved the old school feel to it.  I just hope it's out on DVD when Halloween comes around.

Saw Public Enemies on Monday, that's quite good. Johnny D a legend, and Marion C is really good in it. It's already taken over transformers2 at the box office in the US.

Harry Potter's of course gonna be huge. They're splitting the final film into two films. They're not due out for ages though.

Transformers 2 has horrific reviews, I do a summary of UK reviews for work, and every single review for it was bad, but people who loved the first one seems to love the second one.

Looking forward to Alice in Wonderland, purely cause I love Burton's films. Hmm, I'll have a think about ones which are coming out over the summer. Hope the hangover was good, it had good reviews overall.

Has anyone heard anything about Daybreakers yet? My film-obsessed housemate won't stop going on about it...

Not really a blockbuster, but I really want to see Sunshine Cleaning, it looks fun! And also The Private Lives of Pippa Lee.
