Kelley Armstrong - Dime store magic.
Really enjoying it, loved Stolen (the one before) and wasnt so keen on Bitten (the first in the series) so if anyone else felt the same, its worth plodding through them to get to Dime Store Magic :)

Have recently read The House on the Strand by Daphne du Maurier which was fab and am now reading The Equivoque Principle - not bad for a debut. x

I've just read another Elizabeth Chadwick called A Place Beyond Courage - great, as usual

Brisingr by Christopher Paolini (I know it's a kid's book!) - the story is a totla copy of The Empire Strikes Back, with a smattering of LOTR

The Last Templar by Raymound Khoury - crappy.

The best one has been Azincourt, by Bernard Cornwell (he writes Sharpe) - I sort of fell in love with the antihero a little bit. A great story.

Finished the Darren Craske book mentioned above.  Unfortuntely, it became very cliched and I won't be looking for the sequel.  Have started The Devil and Miss Prym by Paulo Coehlo.

I gave up on the Paulo Coehlo book.  Got too heavy and I found it really hard going.  Have started Dark River - the sequel to The Traveller which seems an easier read. x

I've just been to the library for the first time in ages as I usually buy books or borrow from my mum. They had hardly any books left!

I did manage to find a Tami Hoag called Dark Horse - Ok, but the protagonist isn't likeable, a boring book called Forest of Avalon, Contagious by S Stigler (great, really bl00dy scary!!) and a fab Roman book called Warrior of Rome: Fire in the East by Harry Sidebottom. Funny, clever and full of Romans. And a sexy barbarian.

I've finished The Dark River which was good.  Also have read Little Face by Sophie Hannah which was excellent.  Will look out for more books by her.  Am now reading Testimony by Anita Shreve.
