I got this book for valentine's from my boyfriend this year, and I finally finished it. It's a small book, easy to read. You could prob. finish it in a week if you read often/a lot. I liked it. I also got the movie with it, so I'm excited to see that. I always like reading the book before watching the movie...then you can imagine what it would look like, and see how that corresponds to the movie!

Thanks to the welcome...I'm glad to be here. about the book (in my own words); It's about this guy who dies and goes to heaven where he meets 5 people who each have something to teach him about life. Some parts made me teary-eyed! i actually just saw the movie a few days ago. To be honest, the book was better. The movie kinda reminded me of "What Dreams May Come" (<-- awesome movie!). are you into spirituality?

Wow. That sounds like a great story! I'd love to read the book AND watch the movie. It sounds like a very emotive story. I'll certainly be checking out my local library!

OOOoooooo I LOVED this book ... can't rate it enough :-) Although in the synopsis it should be said that this guy died and thought his life had been worthless and that he had wasted it ..... until he meets 5 people whose life changed because of him (and he didn't even realise it). Fantastic book. I have to say though, I make a point of not watching movies of books I have read ... they are ALWAYS a let down :-( Jx
