That sounds absolutely yummy!!

I'm surprised that it's only 4.75 pts though considering it has ghee in it - I went to India for three weeks last Oct/Nov and when I returned to work my colleague asked me if I had spent the last three weeks eating - the curries were just too good to avoid, I could eat them for breakfast lunch and dinner and I practically did

wave dancer, definitely the more the merrier!

Sorry I haven't been around much this week.  Lost 1lb at wi last night, was hoping for a bit more as I have really gone for it exercise wise this week, but I will hold my hands up and admit that I haven't been doing my tracker, it really does make a uge difference.

KB dont put the swimming off, there is no point saying I'll wait till I get to x weight when if you start now you'll get there sooner.  If you find your weight loss is slowing down a bit or sticking then even more reason to give it a boost.  Dont forget the more muscle mass you have the more calories you naturally burn.

DIA - that dress sounds gorgeous, I love Karen Millen clothes.  Just because you weigh in midweek doesn't mean that's when you have to start tracking.  I start on a Monday as that's when I try to plan my meals for the week and do my shopping, I then try to save up points for the weekend and by the time Friday comes I know what I've got to play with.  You could always start on a Friday/Saturday so by Monday you know what you've got to make up.  I prefer to do it the other way round save then spend, but it's what works for you.

Likewise I know someone who starts her tracking day at 6 in the evening rather than in the morning.  She prefers a bigger meal and treats in the evening and finds it easier to restrict herself in the day, so say if she spends 12 points in the evening she knows what she has left for breakfast and lunch.

A lot of the supermarkets stock ghee now, it comes in a gold and green tin, it's on the shelves rather than in the fridgy bits.  Once opened I keep mine in the fridge and still use it after a couple of months.  Although I tend not to really bother with it now and just leave it out.

Well done Kinsk, a 1lb loss is 50% more than I managed this week and as you weren't tracking your obviously on the right track.

I know what you mean about swimming, I'm really self conscious about being in a swim suit again but the sooner i do it the sooner I'll lose it =)

What is everyone's plan for the weekend? I'm working so it'll be pretty dull my end!

Blimey! I loathe dieting in the warm weather. I absolutley do not like salad unless, its potato salad or coleslaw or a pasta salad. All smothered in blue cheese or mayonnaise. But plain lettuce, cucumber, tomato and radish is so uninteresting.
When its hot I want ice cream and cheese and crackers and strawberries with creme fraiche.

Dont worry I havent had the stuff above. Today i had
BF - yogurt and 2 plums
L- butternut squash soup & bread, sugar free jelly
D- salmon, corn on the cob & new potato

I also had some malt loaf

Oh but I have discovered Del monte Fruitini lollys are only 0.5 points and they are nice, very fruity and refreshing.

2&half stone by 31/8/2009 - here i come

Manda x
Goal - to loose 35lb by 31/8/09
22lb so far.

Morning all

Hope everyone had a  relatively good weekend .. mine was  a bit mish mash ... food wise, but was fun otherwise.

I'm starting to feel the pressure this morning. Hoping to have another 2lbs off this week so I will have reached my mini-target of 1 stone by 1st July ..... not sure I'll have done very well this week though as I had a  terrible sugar craving and managed to eat about 6 packets of snack size maltersers this weekend alone SIGH
