Well I weighed in at 11.5 am determined that that is the last time I am ever, ever going to see that 11!

Yesterday I had -

B - actimel 1 point

L - Same as yesterday stuffed pitta 5.5 points

D - lamb steaks marindaded in lemon, cumin and coriander seeds 4 points, cous cous with pepers, tomatoes, pomegranit seeds, chopped coriander - 2 points feta cheese 2 points

Milk and sugar 2 points, wine 10 points

So 26 points, the wine has blown it out of the water, going to have a rather active afternoon though, just about to go for a ride, then walk the dog and then do some gardening and I have got enough saved points from the week to cover it, although it doesn't leave me much spare for the rest of the weekend!

Morning All ... hope you all had a good weekend, weather was quite nice (for a  change)

Just popping by to wish KB lots of good weight loss vibes :-)

I had a rather heavy weekend as I was out for dinner on Satuday night .. I stuck to a Chicken & Bacon caesar salad (11.5p) for main but I blew it on dessert - Plum & Almond tart with ice cream (although I only ate half I've over-estimated the points at 15 but it means that I am currently (taking into account my activity points) 6 points over my limit for this week .. so - do I eat 3 points less today and tomorrow to compensate? Meaning I can only have 16 points for the next 2 days ... I know you're not supposed to fall below 14.

Any ideas?

How about maybe cut back 1-2 points and earn some more bonus points today and tomorrow, say 1/2 hour walk?

I didn't have the best of weekend either although did do quite a bit of exercise so hoping that will even things up.

Just planning my meals for the week, going to make a big batch of soup tonight to keep me in lunches.

Hi Kinsk

I'm off to Jazzercise this evening which gives me an added 8 points BUT I've already calculated that into the "over-eat" lol I guess I could do some lateral thigh tomorrow morning .. maybe that will help and cut back on points today and tomorrow - I'll be really miffed if I've put anything on this week though :-(

6 points isn't really much in the great scheme of things, I'm sure you'll be okay, just dont use it as an excuse to write the rest of the week off!

Please can I join in?

I'm attending Weight Watchers and have been since the start of March. I'm doing really badly though and have only lost nine pounds. I have a long way to go and important dates fast approaching. I just don't seem to have the will power to do it on my own, My boyfriend's really encouraging and supportive but is also clueless about healthy eating and eats loads of junk. I could really use some support from people who understand how W.W works.

Welcome Wave-Dancer

Of course you can join us .. the more the merrier!

Firstly Congrats on losing 9lbs - that's an achievement but I do know what you mean about how difficult it is to stay on the straight and narrow.  I think Damanda & Kinsk know more about the workings of WW but it's good to all put out dibs in :-)

Kinsk ... rather than blow the week - I've felt more determined and cut out all snacking yesterday but we will see tomorrow what the scales say.  Because I seem to have been on a  roll, losing every week albeit sometimes only a  little I seem to be really sticking to it all I just worry the week I stay the same or put on - it will completely throw me.  So fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Yesterday I ate:

B  - Bran Flakes * skim milk (2p)
L  -  2 crumpets (2/5p) butter (1p)  tin of ww tuna in thousand island dressing(1.5p)
A  -  Stabucks skinny latte (1.5p)
S  -  Jelly with tinned fruit (0.5p)
D  -  Keema curry (4.5p) & rice (3p)

So totalled 16 point and banked 3

Hi chums,
Hello to you Wave Dancer - i only joined last week and DIA and KB have been very welcoming.
I lost 2 lb today which i am quite pleased with as i am feeling heavy (I am due to be visited by the curse). Thats 13 lb off. I need 15 lb more by 31st July. Thats 3 lb a week nearly. Hmmm tall order maybe.
No word from KB yet? I hope she has had a good result.

Today I ate
BF - Weetabix, a plum and some grapefruit juice - 4.5 points
Lunch - jacket spud with tuna and swetcorn  - 5.5 points
Dinner-  chicken breast, stuffing, carrots, brocolli, cauliflower and new potato- 6.5points
Pudding  - bannana and custard- 4 points

Last week, I bought some great little LCD scales in sainsbury and now weigh everything. I am sure it makes a difference, especially if you use the tracker tool and they say "medium portion  of". For a start I learned i had been counting pasta all wrong. My idea of a large potion and theirs are very different. Now I only deal in weights.

I do some gentle cycling (about 20 mins)  every day and slow walking (about 30 mins) to earn activity points. Also to improve my back problem and general mobility.

Today is my birthday and my dear old mum and dad have sent me a huge box of chocolates. Surprised Mind you, they keep telling me I am not fat..... I just have a big frame. LOL Those choccies are staying in the box.

Stay strong everyone.

PS. How about everyone having goal for 31st August? Mine would be 2st 7 lb.l think.

Well, I know this is rather bolting the stable door after the horse has buggered off but i work on  the basis that i have to have the points in the bank before i spend them. So next time plan to have a night out by saving up for it.
On a similar topic, I have also decided that alcohol and weight loss dont mix. Its empty points, everyone seems to underestimate what they drank and the blood sugar  drop the next day means its doubley hard to stick to your points.
When I packed in smoking I gave up drinking because I knew i would weaken if I had a drink. I did that until I was a true 'non smoker'  Now I think the same about weight loss........ so booze is a rare occassion for me until I am a 'non fat person'.

Hi all

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Damanda  (NIL POINTS) :-)   .... Congrats on your 2 lbs off that's FAB!!!!

Thanks for your advice, the problem I have with saving up points is that I weigh in on  a Wed and nearly every Saturday (as I'm a  sad singleton) I'm out with my friends ... albeit sometimes just a  quick drink, quite often it's a  meal.  Therefore I only have 1/2 a week to save up so I have to try and spread the points over the week.  In anticipation of the weekend I always seems to be saving up my activity points and I "normally" earn  at least 20 per week.

WI was today and I'm REALLY pleased this week ... another 2lbs off WOO HOO - so that's 12lbs off since I started 8 weeks ago - only another 2lbs and it's a stone WOW  Clothes are starting to feel better and even my Boss noticed the other day and commented.

Hmmmm would it be too cheeky to say I'd love to be at goal by 31st August lol I guess so, anyways that's about 9 weeks away if I manage another 1-2lbs this week ... I'll say I'd like to have at least another 10lbs off - so from now to 31st August I'm aiming for a stone therefore in total I'll have lost 1 stone 10lbs .........do-able ...? Maybe just lol

Have a  great week all

KB ... sitting on the edge of my seat ... how did you get on this week????
