Morning

Well that's Bank Holiday over.  I loosely stuck to my diet (kinda counting points in my head) so I know I won't have done that great tomorrow.  I'm sure as I'm back to eating again, I'll probably have put on a  little this week and will have a better loss next week.  Well that's my thinking, anyways.

Just in case though - I'm off for a  heavy session in the gym this evening and I plan on only 3 meals today - no snacks, to see if I can claw back some points that I've probably over-used this weekend lol

Keeping my fingers crossed for you all this week and I will let you know how I got on, tomorrow :-)

(On a  better note - looks like my son's wedding is being postponed to a  later date .... still I'm motivated to get back into some of the TWO suitcases full  of "thin" summer  clothes that I have ferreted away in the loft *wink*)

Blast & bugger ... managed to put 1/2lb ON this week :-(  I, at least thought, I might have stayed the same .. so now I have to work EXTRA hard.

I was up at the crack of dawn this morning ... 30 mins on my lateral thigh trainer with the advanced workout .... I feel quite motivated, so going to try it every morning (or at least every other one) see if that makes any difference.  When I logged onto the WW site - it said Id only earned an extra 1.5 points - now that is disappointing *sigh*

Good luck to all :-)

Damn that half a pound! Yell

When you were ill, if you lost a lot of fluids your body could be retaining it just to make sure you don't get dehydrated again...it seems odd how you were ill for so long and therefore not eating to put anything on - your body could just be loving the fact that your now feeling better and therefore holding onto every mere morsal...

But it's great the fact that your still motivated, I'm getting nervous already about the WI on Monday. Has anyone noticed a real difference in weight (not just bloating but actual weight on the scales) when it's your time of the month?

When I started it was mine and so the following week when i lost 3lbs part of me is thinking that perhaps it wasn't me losing weight via WW it was just hormonal weight changes...any thoughts?

I don't know if it's all in my head but I'm starting to 'feel' lighter - I don't feel as sluggish anymore - I didn't notice that I was sluggish/bloated at the time, but now my beloved carbs are reducing in size I'm starting to feel less blurgh!

Good luck with the lateral thigh trainer =)

Hi KB

Well I've been REALLY good .. on the stepper again this morning and decided that this week unless I *really* have to, I'm cutting out some of the snacks and eating more for main meals - see if that can make a  if that can make a  difference.

I think you do weight heavier when it's TOTM .. when I put on 1/2lb that was the first thing she said to me - so don't be too discouraged if that turns out to  be the case.

So my total loss in 1 month is 5 1/2lbs not bad ... but I'm like you feeling slightly slimmer, my clothes are feeling slightly looser - dunno if it's all in my mind lol but I'm liking the thought Wink

The one problem I'm finding is that I'm not drinking enough ... I keep forgetting to have some water.  So far today I've had 1 glass water (after exercise) and 2 cups of tea ... must get more motivated to drink 2 litres.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you Monday.

Out of interest - did you see the TV programme about weight on BBC1 last night .. it was really quite interesting.  I was amazed about the people they split into 2 groups .. 1 ate dinner with a glass of water and the other group had exactly the same dinner only using the water it was pureed into soup and  group 2 were fuller for longer ... wow ... hence the reason I'm on a tin of soup and piece of fruit for lunch today - see what happens lol

Wow, no I didn't manage to watch it I was back working nights - but it sounds like it was worth a watch so I'm going to keep my eye out for a rerun - soup all the way now I guess!

Bigger main meals work for me - piles of veg always make me feel like I've eaten masses but it's still not ruining my points =) Water is hard for me too - when I'm at work I find it much easier to drink my 2litres, but at home I just don't seem to remember...I eat quite a bit of melon which can be for pudding as well as to increase my water intake - i hope that's valid as it's my only reason for dragging two at a time back from Tesco's as well as for a bit of weight training!

Only 1.5lbs lost today...a bit disappointed as I was hoping for more having been 2 weeks since the last weigh in, but I guess it's still going in the right direction!!

Going to make a conscious effort to increase my exercise this week, let's see what happens =)

Well done KB .. 1.5 lbs off is excellent (remember I put 0.5 ON last week)

I've tried quite hard this week .. getting up earlier doing some exercise most mornings.  I had a  blip on Sunday - when I opted to go to the Toby Carvery as the thought of lots of 0 point veggies would fill me up when it actually turned out their veggies aren't 0 points in fact their steamed broccoli is 1.5 per portion ... so I ended up eating 30.5 points on Sunday *eek* bloody good job I have activities points saved up, I can tell you  - just goes to show you have to be REALLY careful!

Anyways - good news for me today ... I managed to lose 3 lbs this week  woo hoo ... that's 8.5lbs off in 5 weeks - Getting there slowly, slowly :-)

Have a  great week

Sorry, I haven't been online much this week - early nights have been the highlight of my week!

3lbs is brilliant - well done you! All of your stepping is obviously paying off

I'm not feeling very positive at the moment, I'm still sticking to the points have been down every day this week so hopefully I'll lose something tomorrow - the first week I could 'feel' that I had lost weight but since then I'm not so sure...

But I've signed up to the monthly pass now so apparently I have access to WW online, but still need to register...got given the delicious cookbook so hoping for some inspiration from there!

Good luck everyone for the coming week =)

Ooo the WW online is great .. I use it all the time as my Tracker (somehow makes it quite a  game in the office when I'm bored lol)

I'm sure you will have done really well ... I think round about this stage we start to think we're not doing very well and I guess that's why a lot of peeps give up about now.

I'm thinking .. hmm wonder if I can get to the end of this month and have lost nearly a  stone (how great would that be??)

Keeping my fingers crossed for you

How'd you get on KB?

I am knackered this morning .. I did my lateral thigh yesterday and then my mate dragged  me to a  Jazzercise class (which was free as they're just starting up in my Town) so I was all exercised out yesterday ... and aching today *sigh* ... still I managed to bank 12 activity points woo hoo (maybe my daughters birthday cake on Sunday won't actually show up tomorrow - here's hoping *wink*)

OOoo I think I'm turning into a  Weight Watchers bore
