WOW well done you 3lbs ..... I'm not jealous in the slightest *wink* Keep up the good work!!!

Miss Megs ... my 19 points are based on my height/weight ratio as far as I know - even the WW online "esource" thingey says 19, but I'm managing ok (when I'm not ill that is)

I've had a  terrible week all in all ... not WW wise but I've picked up a virus which put me in hospital so haven't been able to eat much at all, and anything I have eaten has come out pronto - so if I haven't lost any weight when I WI tomorrow ... there's something wrong in the world.

Hopefully, I'll be able to start eating properly again soon since, atm, just a  couple of mouthfuls of anything  makes me feel quite queasy (which I often think is worse than actually being sick) *woe is me*

Poor you, sounds like you truely have had a terrible week! I hope your feeling as though your on the mend now...like you say, as bad as being ill is - it sometimes has welcome side effects = weight loss!

Focus on getting better, put the points out of your mind for a while

Thanx KB

My WI today ... 4 lbs off - but I did feel like I cheated so told her I'd been ill and it wasn't all down to being good - still just got to be really good this week and then I, hopefully  will lose at  least 1 1lb and that will be half a  stone in the first month WOO HOO (probably a  bit too premature to start celebrating though )

Excellent - 4lbs is great, we've lost half a stone between us this week - that's worth celebrating!

I need to be really good for the rest of this week - family chinese meal arranged for Sat and a girls night out to see Girls Aloud on Sunday - I need to start saving up my points sharpish!

Are you feeling any better now?

I didn't think about height (silly Megs).

I have been really, really bad this week. I was so strict for the two previous weeks due to a big run at the weekend, that now it's past I have went on a bit of a binge.

Back on the wagon today (must not have wine). Sigh.

How did your run go Miss Megs? I run like Pheobe in Friends so I restrict my running to essential occassions only...such as running away from lions etc - South London can be dangerous Wink

I'm sure the run has given you a breather for being a bit naughty the last week or so - no wine is dull tho, I'm feeling your pain right now...

It went brilliantly thanks!  I did the 10k in an hour and four minutes, which I don't think is too shameful for a complete newbie and fatty like me! ;-)

I have a serious wine craving now though, I'm not sure I can make it through the evening without a glass........arrghhhhhh

Wow thats a great time - truely running for the bus is enough running for me; total lack of co-ordination, can't seem to move my feet fast enough and breathe at the same time

How long were you training for to be able to do that? Did you find that you lost weight or did you just gain muscle weight?

I hope you had a glass (or two) in celebration...I had a couple of Bud's today only 1.5points each - the alcohol section of my shop book is well thumbed...!!

I trained for about 12 weeks, starting off with run a minute walk a minute, and feeling very sick after two. In the end I ran the whole way so it's amazing what you can do if you set your mind to it. I'm looking at other races online now as I can't wait to do another one!

I have lost about half a stone, but have been eating lots more, and more carbs to give me fuel to run.

As I'm no longer in training as such, I'm going to revert to my old diet but keep up the running and I'm prettty positive I can lose more that way.

I had one glass. I'll finish the rest tommorow ;0)

Well, as it's a Bank Holiday there was no WI today - so I'm hoping for about 4lb weight loss by next Monday (2lb each week) it would be great if I manage that as then I'll would have lost half a stone in 3weeks!! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed...

I had a great weekend but full of tempation - thought I had gone completely overboard, my points allowance is 24, but on Sunday I had 32.5 Foot in mouth (Girls Aloud concert; meal and drinks with the girls before hand) but when I sat and worked out my total points for the week I was still under my weekly allowance as I had saved them up throughout the week, so feeling a mixture of relief and guilt, if that makes any sense.

Back on the night shifts, so trying to get myself into a routine - my points will be from midnight - midnight as opposed to 7pm when I wake up and 10am when I go to sleep, I think that will be to confusing...I have a bag full of healthy low points food so here's to a good week!

How was everyone elses Bank Holiday weekend...I'm surprised I managed to avoid a BBQ, I feel that would have forced me not to eat for at least a week with all the loveliness BBQ's involve Laughing
