I felt lazy because I was overweight, had to get up at 5:30am trying to make myself look nice and trying to squeeze into trousers that are 2 sizes to small. Getting home at 7.15 each night left me feeling tired all the time with no energy at all, so I just eat junk food because I just could not deal with the logistics of a dieting.

Since starting my fresh food home delivery diet, I feel great I have dropped a dress size, I am more energized and feeling much better about myself. This home delivery service is worth every penny I pay for it. I will be updating you all as I weigh myself this Friday.

Hope you are all feeling slimmer and happier :)

I'm not quite sure you would need to get up at 5.30am to put on a pair of trousers, even a pair that are 2 sizes too small  It is possible to be overweight and still look nice - as long as you wear clothes that fit correctly.

Whatever, it is working for you so far and that is great :) I would recommend trying tesco diets though, much cheaper!
If you've lost your faith in love and music, the end won't be long...

OMG I spend around 70 a week feeding me, OH and two young children, I would :faint: at spending that sort of money! The tesco diets thing sounds much better value for money, and they still deliver to your door if that is your main requirement!

I really hope you have the incentive now to keep the weight off, but I think you really need to change your entire long term views with regards to eating habits and exercise, losing weight is not a 2 week quick fix.

:yaright: This wouldn't be :am: or advertising would it???

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, a friend of mine did a couple of weeks' trial on this type of diet (don't know if it was this exact one), and did like it. She'd been doing Lighter Life but became unable to cope with the whole liquid thing after a while, So going to back to portion-controlled real food did her the world of good, unsurprisingly.

HOWEVER. This is still a lot to spend on food, healthy eating is nothing you can't do yourself with a bit of forethought for a fraction of the cost.

with you on that one!

there's a programme on tonight on bbc2 about the same thing; looks very interesting!

I don't like the task of having to research every meal I am going to eat and always worrying about counting calories, I also don't like eating the same foods day in and day out :boohoo:

Ive tried many plans and Ive always failed to lose weight and feel good at the same time, why should i punish my body to lose weight by eating cabbage soups or drinking shakes

Were all have failed though Bodychef has come to my aid I love the food and its very tasty and no counting calories or preparation is needed so I would rather pay the extra money and receive the full eating plan that will help me lose weight.

You may think its expensive but you don't know the quality of service you receive, so im extremely happy with my progress and hope to hit my target weight soon.

There is a vegetarian plan, my friend is on it and she is chuffed with the food :)

I don't know enough about bodychef to make a full appraisal; having seen their advertising on youtube and seen some of their website; i can see the appeal for people that are short on time and want quick results as well as being sure of portion control. I can't comment on the quality of the food that bodychef uses, but you can get all of the stuff they use in any supermarket to prepare yourself as other posters have said here.

I read in The Times that a study showed that the Atkins diet is the most succesful diet in history, when you tally up all the available data from studies.  I'm sure the GI and SOuthbeach diet are more healthier though.  I think it's about the right balance.
