Don't know if it counts, but I did an 8mile walk (altogether) yesterday. 4miles to work and 4miles back.

Of course it counts! Well done :D

My body attack class was cancelled last night

I'll make up for it tonight by working extra hard at my weights :weight: (Am still aching like buggery from Sunday!)

Just played badminton tonight, only for an hour but with lots of stopping. Probably not a brilliant workout but was really good fun!

Went to the gym after work last night...it was berluddy freezing inside the place!...and packed with what I think were new people doing the post xmas thing......girls chatting and just sitting around on the equipment, I had to ask two of them to move....bit annoying....

did quite a lot of cardio to warm myself up, then a full weights programme and surprised myself with a really full on session (I was tired when I went in so ididn't thnk I'd be doing much)......then walked on the treadmill for about half an hour on a incline of 4 or 5 I think...I dunno why I did that, no need really but it was cold and I had nowhere else to go except bed...which is exacvtly what I did when I got in, with a massive mug of hot chocolate...YUM......got body attack tonight, hoping it will run as mondays boxing class was cancellled so that made me a bit:mad: ............just to be really sad, I wore my new sports bra last night and it was brilliant!..can bras be brilliant? I secretly felt very cool.......(errr...yes, literally aswell...hahahaah)...

God you have all put me to shame!!!! Ive got my Duathlon in 4 1/2 weeks! I have had every intention to go swimming every morning this week and not done it! So Im going after work tonight, I really need some motivation to go in the mornings!

I went on a 5 mile cycle ride yesterday, which was quite good as I havent done any training since the beginning of Dec! :faint: :cmdunno:

I got this for Christmas so am making the most of it... I love it!

Morning all
Went swimming this morning, and again the lane was empty! :hop: vintage_angel, if you do start going in the mornings you may well find that the pool is much quieter than lunchtimes/evenings.. plus although the first couple of times getting up early seems a struggle, after doing it a few times it's much easier! And you get to enjoy the post-exercise serotonin buzz all day long :)
That's cool you're doing a duathlon - is it swimming and cycling or running? What distances of each?

hi, I was swimming in the mornings before Christmas...ive just lost the motivation, its too cold. Annoyingly my local pool is always busy in the mornings!

The duathlon is 1 mile run, 5 miles bike, 1 mile run. Not too strenuous although its across country and pretty hilly!

Morning all, I went along to my new gym last night, it opened on Monday but I chose to avoid it then as I thought it would be rammed, but it wasn't too bad last night, it's absolutely massive and so has plenty of equipment to go round. I wasn't really able to do my proper workout though as I haven't sussed out how all the equipment works yet, but I'm booking a session with a personal trainer to find all that out and also give my routine a bit of a shake up.

I've got spinning tonight at my old gym (I've got a month until my membership there runs out), so will make double the effort tonight!
