Michael was never convicted of any child molestation. In fact the family he had an out of court settlement with have had various quotes which very much discredit the entire ordeal. Including Jordy Chandler himself stating that nothing happened and that his dad forced him to say it. Alongside the mother stating that Michael never touched her son. And also a recorded phonecall with the dad stating that ''If I go through with this, I win big-time. There’s no way I lose. I will get everything I want'' Not really the words of a concerned father of an abused child is it? Not to mention that the 'discovery of abuse' happened when the father had drugged his son with a highly questionable drug (he was a dentist) and there's where he got the 'confession' However, it had also been proved that people under this drug could be easily manipulated to say whatever another person wishes them to. Honestly, look up the details of the case, I think you'l be suprised.  If a child of mine was ever abused there would be no sum anyone could pay me to keep me from going to court to ensure that man was behind bars. They were after his money, and Michael gave them that to shut them up. The second time around it was only after Bashir's incredibly biased documentary that the 'abuse' claims came out. After this documentary was released there was an outcry of how 'weird' it was that Michael shared his bedroom with the family's children. Wrong in many people's eyes, i agree, however, at the time of the documentary, the boy's mother was quoted as saying 'Michael is a part of our family, he is like a father to my three children' Michael also paid for Gavin's cancer treatment, and a boy who only had 4 weeks left to live is still alive today. After the documentary was released, and the public backlash against Michael began, and suddenly, the same lawyers that got the Chandler family's payout began representing Gavin's family amid claims that he 'abused' him. Odd huh? Probably hoping for another big payout as in the last time, but Michael allowed it to go to court and was found NOT GUILTY. He's never been proved to hurt a child, anyone that's been close to him has desputed these allegations and I, personally, don't think he could ever hurt a child. Things he did were at best, questionable, but he just wanted to give kids a childhood he never had. Sadly, a very easy target for people who wanted a nice chunk of his fortune. It suprises me how many people still hold the opinion he is a child molester just because that's what the media tells them to think. I suggest you do your own research and THEN make up your mind.
