Wow, I really don't know what to say. My heart goes out to is family, friends, and his kids. I can't belive this and I have to keep asking myself 'what, how can that be?' His poor kids. Rest in peace.

Shocked - no? Since the late 80s I've always said he would die young - it just had to happen, he was/is a legend. Good job he had such great songs as we're going to be listening to them for the next week solid!! Very sad for his family.

Another one who grew up listening to his music. I was shocked, I have to admit, when Mr Zig called the news up to me this morning. All that talk about whether or not he'd be able to make the concerts, and those that said he wouldn't were right. It's really sad - he was such a truly talented musician and never knew a life out of the spotlight, so pretty messed up in the end. I love his music. |

I'm another one who's surprised by how shocked and saddened I am by his death. I remember him in his Thriller heyday and loved his music. Seeing clips of him in the Jackson Five always tended to bring a lump to my throat; seeing the fresh faced talented young boy that he was, compared to what he became Whatever his personal demons Michael Jackson was a hugely talented performer. I only hope he's found the peace now that he never found during his lifetime. R.I.P. Michael

I'm totally shocked and saddened. I almost can't believe he is really gone. RIP Michael Jackson, despite being misunderstood, you were loved by so many.

He was only 5 years older than me, and we have the same surname. I remember watching the Jackson 5 cartoon series, and although I wasn't a massive fan I enjoyed his music. Your opinion of me is irrelevant and unimportant. |
