Hi, just a grump about my hairdresser and what to do in future. She is a good stylist but since I have been seeing her my hair has seemed to get shorter. Anyway now I have told her I am growing it a couple of inches or so longer (from a chin length bob). She still insists on trimming the split ends which is OK but I had just got the two inches back that I wanted and I went to have my hair done at the weekend and I feel sure she has lopped it back to how it was. I can never tell when my hair is wet and she’s trimming away. I feel like leaving it until I get it to the exact length I want it and then going to another hairdresser and asking them to trim it from there but I have it coloured regularly and I don’t want to do it myself at home as I am going grey and my hair is fine so I don’t trust myself to do it properly.   I am sometimes tempted to colour it myself as a few of my friends are now doing this to save to money. I just want my hairdresser to stop cutting the ends off every time I go.
