I am really impressed with a tip my friend gave me recently - use Sudocrem (antiseptic cream for baby's bots) on your spots, it really helps shrink them. Slather it on at night - not a good look but not so bad if you usually sleep alone! I don't normally get zits but since I have been on the mini pill I get spots on my chin and the sudocrem treatment does help reduce 'em.

Someone else recommended this to me once but because it's oil based it clogs up the skin so I found I got another load of spots not long after!

An ex-boyfriend of mine (a doctor) used Germolene on spots if he got them and it cleared them up nicely.  It's water based too so won't clog the pores.

Big fan of it i use it on literally any kind of problem, sunburn, cuts grazes etc. I also use it all the time on my horses as they have very sensitive skin, but as it is designed for babies it doesnt upset them!

Sudocrem rocks, but I agree it is too heavy for my skin-clogs it up and a week later MORE spots appear. I've been using Boots Witch Hazel Gel on my spot ridden chin for the last couple of months and it has been bloody marvellous! It's not oil based but it doesn't dry the skin out (I also have sensitive skin)

I've never used it on spots, but I do use it on rashes.

For spots I use surgical spirit, it dries them out really quickly. Doesn't smell too good though, so best used at night.

I could not live without sudocream!  I use it for spots, cuts, rashes etc, it really is brilliant.
