In Response to Re: Spots! ARGH!!!!:
well first of all - i know exactly how you feel as ive struggled with my skin for a long time and im 30 now!  I tried a million lotions and potions and never really got anywhere - it was an endless cycle of spending loads of money and waiting 3 months hoping that this was the thing that was going to sort it!  nothing ever did....until i finally went to the doctor. I was embarassed because i didnt think it was a serious enough thing to go to the docs but she was so sympathetic.  First of all they put me on zineryt lotion which after 7 weeks i had pretty much perfect skin!  i was so happy but it only works for a period of time as your skin gets used to the antibiotics.  I was on that for a year til it stopped working then i was put on dalacin t which didnt really work for me.  Im now on dianette which i dont think is for everyone but its been a total saviour for me - my skin is near perfect and i dont mind people seeing me without my make up for the first time in years. I guess what im saying is that if its really upsetting you i would put an appointment on at the docs - they have access to lots of solutions and hopefully you will find the one that works best for you. i hope this helps

Hi i just wanted to say that i could have written this exact post its so weird!!altho i stil use the zineryt if i get the odd spot during totm but dianette has completely changed my skin!i had actually been on it b4 but gave up after a week bcus my skin got real bad and i blamed the pill at the time.  after that i went on roaccutane which workd alright whilst i was on it but soon as i stopped they all came back. so anyway i decided to give dianette anothr try and im so glad i did!im in my 8th month now and i barely ever get a spot! touch wood!!

pinklady, if the spots are between your brows and on your chin, that's directly related to the liver!

I read a while ago that if you get spots on the forehead and/or chin areas, it's hormonal!

Have you tried getting more sun on your face? Either via sunbeds or just being outside.  It helped clear my skin up in a few weeks last time I went, so it might be worth it.

I hope it all works out well.  I'm getting married in a few months and have started to get a few spots from stress/tiredness. Hopefully they sort themselves out soon. Good luck!
