Hi all, Can anyone suggest anything for panda eyes. I'm asking after some kind of treatment, not merely covering up as I am a bloke. For years now I've had dark areas under my eyes. A few months ago I had a kick-boxing accident which left me with two black eyes. I don't know if this has left my eyes permanantly worse or whether the black eyes have just faded back to the "now normal" dark colour that they were previously, but people are now noticing it and keep mentioning that I still have black eyes. Today, a woman at work asked me if I've had another sporting accident. It's pissing me off. |

Dark circles are such a pain  Jon Gustafson (who does the beauty Q&A here on Handbag) recommends Strixaderm MD SOS Dark Circles and Bags, however I cannot find a UK stockist! I think Selfridges London used to stock it, but don't appear to any more. The same with beautyexpert.co.uk Sorry I can't be more help. I'm certainly NOT advocating this is as a miracle product seeing as I've never tried it, but I think Jon's opinion is to be trusted. Anyway, if you are tempted and find a UK stockist - do let us know, and I'll do likewise! Try not to let those pesky circles get you down. |

Hi, Have you spoken to your GP about the dark circles? The skin under your eyes is very delicate and has a lot of blood vessels/capillaries in it. If this area was damaged during your kick boxing accident it may take a while for the area to repair. Have you tried anything like vitamin e cream/serum on the skin? Drinking water will help to flush out any toxins that may be building up and drain the lymphatic system, this might help to reduce the dark circles? Not really sure what else to suggest, sorry. |

I was having a think over the weekend if there was anything else that you could do to help with the dark circles and thought that an eye gel might be worth a try. I use one from Anatomicals called "No Old Bags Allowed". It has arnica in it which is good for helping to heal skin damage such as bruising. The product is pretty cheap at less than £5 per tube and the packaging is unisex.

Thanks for the recommendation juiz. maybe I'll give that a go. Can't go wrong at only 3 quid. Did it work for you? Some of the products sound suss, like Snog me Senseless breath mints and Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer. Being a bloke, I'm reluctant to go to the doctor purely out of vanity. Maybe I should just live with it; none of us are getting younger after all. It just pisses me off how, since the kick-boxing incident, it now seems to be open season on my eyes. How would they like it if I made comments about hairy moles, spaniel's ears or any other aging-related characteristic. |

It depends how much you want to pay. I must admit I've suffered for years with what looked like dark shadows under my eyes, I've tried most things on the market and a few from the States. There is one thing that does work guaranteed but it is expensive. I had Juvederm injections under my eyes, it fills in the hollows and therefore takes out any signs of darkness at all. It is purely a sugar based filler and I had mine done Dec last year and they are still really good .. it takes years off of you... but !!! was £180. You can have it done by a reputable beauty practioner .. well well worth the money !!! They put a numbing cream under first so you feel nothing at all, there was a little bruising for a few days but you could see the difference immediately In Response to Panda eyes: Hi all, Can anyone suggest anything for panda eyes.
