It's a big day for Kristen Stewart already - not only has she nailed the 70s trend without falling into throwback territory, but she's also been announced as Karl Lagerfeld's new face of Chanel.
Hitting the much talked about Metiers d'Art show in Dallas last night, Kristen worked a pair of Chanel SS14 burnt orange wide leg trousers for a 'summer in the 70s' kind of vibe.
Look at it a bit longer, it's a grower we promise. Though of course we'd ditch the jumper the round the waist thing.
Joined by Anna Wintour, Lauren Hutton, Geraldine Chaplin, Dakota Fanning, Alexa Chung, Lily Collins and countless more in Dallas, KStew and the gang were treated to a preview of Karl's new Coco Chanel film The Return (while seated in an army of classic cars), before his new collection hit the hay covered runway.
Yes, Karl Lagerfeld staging a show in Dallas with a cowboy gone couture theme is indeed a change of pace. But so is the Kristen Stewart news, no?
According to reports, Kristen will front the Chanel Paris-Dallas Metiers d'Art (Pre-Fall) 2014 collection with an ad campaign shot by Karl, set for release next summer.
