The Saturdays' singer Mollie King - though probably known more for her endlessly fabulous wardrobe at the moment - hit the Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards last night wearing an experimental dress indeed.
Crafted by Gucci, it's hard to pull one statement look from the other. While the frock embraced the sheer trend with a black lace pannel front and centre, Mollie and Gucci also put a twist on tweed, with a silk print rather than the genuine texture.
But even though it's a brave look and we can always commend a style experiment - don't know if you don't try, right? - there's something not quite right here.
Yes, the front is totally sheer and she's going braless, but somehow, it's still a wee bit frumpy isn't it?
