Fashion really does have a conscience...

Stella McCartney designs scarves for cancer sufferers
Stella McCartney has joined forces with menswear label Rake and Harper's Bazaar to create exclusive designer headscarves, in aid of cancer sufferers at Kings College Hospital.

The printed pieces will be given to each and every patient treated on the cancer ward at the hospital, as well as going on sale here, with all proceeds going to the cause.

The ethical designer told Harper's Bazaar, "The reality is that when you're ill, your confidence is very low, and you hold yourself differently. I think that, when facing the big things, it is important that we remember that the little things are important too."

We love that the fashion industry is giving something back - let's hope more designer labels get onboard!
