Looking for the best of both worlds? Smack dab in London's bustling Leicester Square is the cool, calm and relaxing Radisson Edwardian Hampshire.

Radisson HamshireIf it's a taste of London life you're after, you can't get any more central than the Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel. Situated overlooking bustling Leicester Square, the Radisson Edwardian Hampshire offers all of the luxury of a five-star hotel with the effortless contemporary style symbolic of every other Radisson hotel across the country.

Despite being situated in such a lively and, it's fair to say, noisy location, from the moment you step foot through the Radisson's rotating doors all noise from the crowds outside slips away replaced with smiling staff and a calming décor. Each of the 127 rooms offer a luxurious environment for guests to work and relax in, and many boast a view over Leicester Square, perfect for a spot of people watching or for seeing what's screening at the Odeon cinema.

Radisson HampshireThe rooms range from standard to the luxury and junior suites, which contain sprawling bathrooms designed by Phillipe Starck, a Bose sound system and designer furniture, and provide everything you could ever need for a truly relaxing and peaceful stay in an incredible location.

Eating and drinking

The Hampshire Bar and Restaurant is located at the base of the hotel opening up over Leicester Square so you can watch the crowds and the vibrant atmosphere as you dine. The restaurant offers a wide selection of British and Mediterranean dishes to suit all tastes. We feasted on the wood blewit wild mushroom tart with mature cheddar and walnut salad and Golden Cross goat's cheese and potato terrine with truffle oil and beetroot dressing to start followed by roasted Welsh saddle of lamb with rosemary and garlic stuffing with spring onion mash and poached sole fillets, steamed vegetables and hollandaise sauce for the main course. All of the food was so delicious and the service was to such a high standard we'll definitely be back if only for the restaurant alone.

Radisson Hampshire hotel dining roomBreakfast at the Hampshire is also a mouth-watering experience and the restaurant is actually one of the best-known places in London for a good breakfast. Choose from eggs Benedict, a full English and various other concoctions depending on how indulgent you're feeling.  When it's time to leave you'll feel relaxed, rejuvenated and sorry to depart the opulent surroundings of the Radisson Edwardian Hampshire.

Book at any Radisson Edwardian hotel before 18 October 2009 from as little as £74 per room, per night (based upon double occupancy)*. If it's theatre land you're after, then stay at the luxurious five-star Radisson Edwardian Hampshire. Maybe catch your favourite celebrity at one of Leicester Square's film premieres, or take in an early Christmas show. Whether you're relaxing or star catching, we're sure you'll enjoy the hotel's sumptuous setting. Room rate from £142pn.
