When Debbie Bryan was diagnosed with dyslexia at age 33 it was a pivotal turning point - making sense of years past at school when she struggled to keep up.

 
With a newfound zeal for life, Debbie went to university as a mature-aged student and emerged with a BA and an MA. She then started Debbie Bryan Ltd in 2006, creating design-led craft fashion accessories committed to maintaining a handmade "local ethos." She says the most rewarding aspect of owning a business is seeing someone's enjoyment at wearing one of her pieces.

 
Debbie is working towards ensuring that all the materials and technology required to make her collections are sourced directly from local Midlands' suppliers. She is presently stocked in small independent retailers in the UK and the US, but dreams of cracking the larger multiple retailers globally.
