1. When did you start planning your wedding?
Not long after he proposed
When I first clapped eyes on him

2. How did you decide on the engagement ring?
I didn't; he gave me a ring when he asked me to marry him
We went to quite a few different places before I saw something I liked
I phoned him from the jewellers and told him which ring he was buying
3. How did you find your dress?
I went to a couple of places, tried on a few frocks, found something I liked and bought it
I went everywhere, tried on dozens of dresses, couldn't make up my mind, tried on loads more and finally found something close to perfect
After extensive magazine and web-based research, I made a first round of appointments for my long list of potential dresses, narrowed it down to nine and, three sets of appointments later, I felt equipped to choose
4. What influence do your bridesmaids have on what they are wearing?
I told them what colours I like and they are buying their own outfits
I chose the dresses, they are choosing their shoes and accessories, but I have final say
None - they will have matching everything from hairstyles to lingerie
5. Your groom wants to wear a wedding outfit that would make Elton John blush. Do you:
Tell him to wear whatever makes him happy
Gently but firmly steer him towards something more restrained and let him go mad on the waistcoat
Give him pictures of acceptable suits and swatches of the material from which he may have his waistcoat made and threaten to call off the wedding if he doesn't comply
