Actor Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black in Twilight: New Moon, talks about his character’s relationship with Bella Swan in the second of the Twilight movies and about getting fit to play Jacob.
“New Moon is a lot more complicated than Twilight was,” says the 17-year-old, who is reportedly dating country singer Taylor Swift. “Bella is in such a deep depression when Edward leaves, and Jacob is the friend that is there for her.”
Talking about how his character has developed since the first movie, Taylor boasts, “Jacob has changed in many different ways. His physicality, he’s a lot bigger, he’s 30 pounds bigger.”
