When it comes to naming your precious newborn, most parents pick from a handful of traditional and popular names.
But some parents might be getting a little bit carried away when it comes to distinguishing their little of bundle of joy from the rest of the world.
According to the BabyCenter's annual global list of the top 100 baby names for 2012, names inspired by Apple computer and phone products are on the rise.
No, we're not joking!
Although Aiden and Sophia topped the list of the most popular baby names, the name Apple was up 15%, while Mac jumped 12% and the name of Apple's talking PA, Siri, was up 5% on the girl's list.
The top 100 name list is based on the names of 450,000 babies born this year to mothers worldwide registered with the BabyCenter website.
