The Quality of Life Index results are in and it's the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland that came in on top.
Babies born in Switzerland in 2013 will be the happiest and have the best quality of life in terms of wealth, health and trust in public institutions.
Other Scandinavian countries like Norway, Sweden and Denmark also made the top five.
But poor old Britain only managed 27th place behind South Korea, the US and Israel.
The Quality of Life Index combines the results of a subjective life-satisfaction survey (how happy people say they are) with objective facts about what life is really like in each country.
One of the most important measurable factors is wealth and job prospects, while levels of crime, health services and family life are also deemed crucially important.
Brazil, Russia, India, China and Nigeria scored the lowest.
