As an Aquarius, you're both an idealist and a bit of a perfectionist. So when it comes to what you do with your time, your goals, both short term and in the long range, you give careful thought and reflect on what you might do before you commit to anything. Then, once you know your direction, you work hard to get your life organised, to balance what you must do with what's more meaningful to you. Then, once it is, your intention is to maintain stability. Yet, with so much in transition, around you and in your own life, and with Jupiter bringing opportunities of many varieties, this is no time to stick with what you know. During 2009, explore every option that arises. Some will have first appeared last year, when the planet of achievement, Saturn, powerfully aspected your ruler, Uranus. This process continues for all of 2009, and brings a fresh perspective on existing activities that involve your material wellbeing, your goals and career, if you have one. It also indicates shake-ups in the world around you, which could actually benefit you, particularly if you're willing to explore seemingly unexpected ideas and offers. These could, in fact, be exactly what you need to transform your life into a dream come true.

Health and Wellbeing

Of all the signs, you have perhaps the best understanding of the link between your physical wellbeing and the state of your mind. Ordinarily you're able to maintain a balance between these two. However, during times of confusion or periods of unsettling change, such as the year of 2009, maintaining that stability could be a challenge. In fact, you could find that the routines that once suited you, in terms of maintaining both your physical health and your emotional and mental wellbeing, not only need to change but will need to be altered on several occasions, over time. You might also find that you're restless, that you feel that there must be a new approach to life that will make you feel better. Not only is that true, it's appropriate. That apparent restlessness is about discovery. What you learn or discover could be hugely illuminating, exciting or helpful. In fact, with the expansive Jupiter actually meeting the intuitive Neptune several times during the year and accenting exactly this variety of questioning, what you learn won't just be informative or helpful; these insights will contribute to your wellbeing for the rest of your life.

Love and Close Relationships

While it's rare that astrology can promise that magic is coming into anybody's life, every once in a while situations arise that are nothing less than that. And this is your year to expect nothing less. These amazing developments are indicated by Jupiter's brilliant aspects to Neptune, both of which are positioned in your sign during all of 2009. These promise magic in your own life and extraordinary and often magical encounters with others. But in order to take advantage of these you'll need to be open, quite possibly to changes that you might not otherwise consider. These could take you into new territory. You might spend time with people who, for various reasons, you wouldn't otherwise encounter. This could come about because of changes in your way or living or even working which, initially anyway, you're not exactly thrilled about. Still, if you're willing to meet these exciting developments half way, your life will be the richer for it. Not only will experiences in existing relationships, with loved ones, romantic partners and dear friends be exciting, experiences with those you meet could change your life - and quite possibly, theirs.

Mind, Body, Spirit

Although you, as an Aquarian, have a powerful mind and a strong intellectual curiosity, that's only one side of your nature. You also possess a powerful intuitive or spiritual component to their nature, and this will be deeply accented during this year. This is partly because frequent and often entirely unexpected changes will often leave you short of facts, and therefore will require that you pay close attention to your intuition. But also, certain situations will highlight the fact that the only answer will come from trusting your instincts. The more in touch you're with those, the more smoothly this remarkable year will unfold.
