Lose weight without effort (well almost)

Chef

Suffering from post-holiday poundage was ruining the feel-good glow of a holiday tan and with the season of the 'little black frock' just around the corner I knew I had to do something drastic or slip into over-size sweats through the winter months. Not that I was particularly large, mind you, it was just that things were just that bit too tight. Then I discovered Bodychef and was simply amazed that a diet could a) work so well and b) be so easy to stick to.

Bodychef delivers fresh food to your door every few days for two weeks. So you don't have to go to the supermarket (where temptation lurks) and you know that you are being properly 'portioned' and nutrionally monitored. And the food's not at all bad! Breakfast, lunch and supper are all provided in single portions - along with a few healthy nibbles along the way. Being a busy working mum I new that my energy levels needed to be maintained and although Bodychef produce a 'Skinny Bitch' style diet, that I would be suffering around the second day if I chose that option. The Low GI diet was far more appropriate and provided me with the right amount of energy-giving foods while allowing me to lose weight steadily without ever really feeling hungry. Following a low GI diet is actually more of a lifestyle choice than a difficult diet because you can eat almost anything so long as it is at the appropriate times and in the appropriate quantities. Because the Bodychef diet comes completely prepared and measured you simply just eat it at the designated times of day and amazingly the weight did appear, with very little effort, to drop off.

On a typical day I would have something like the following :
Fresh grapefruit and orange salad with fruit yogurt for breakfast
2 oatcakes and a small portion of hummus as a mid-morning snack
Chicken strips with potato salad and a green salad with dressing for lunch
An apple for mid-afternoon energy lows
Meatballs with tagliatelle and a green leaf salad for supper
Pears in jelly for dessert.

Hardly starvation rations! And yet, incredibly, I managed to shed eight pounds in two weeks. Not only was the food tasty, easily portable to and from the office with a broad range of meals but the new regime is one I can easily follow to maintain the weight and even lose a few more pounds should I chose to. It's not cheap at around £160 for the fortnight but that does include delivery - and above all IT WORKS! I would recommend it (and have done so) to anyone wanting a healthy and successful way to drop a few pounds.
