Good foods versus bad foods

A diet for life based on food combining - eating foods that are digested at the same rate. Gillian McKeith discusses the effects of good foods and bad foods in the hugely popular television series, You Are What You Eat on Channel 4. Monitoring the state of certain parts of your body, including the tongue, skin and nails will give an indication as to whether you're choosing the right foods.

Does it work?

Judging by the media hype that continues, plus all the celebs who claim to have lost yet more from their slender bodies, then, yes, it must work.

Pros

Discusses your diet as a whole, affecting all aspects of your life, not just your figure. If you suffer from mood swings, depression or a sore tongue, this diet suggests you cure the symptoms with good foods.

Cons

There's quite a lot of information and facts to read and take in. Food combining may be a little awkward to follow if you have a family and busy life, as you must think out the meals carefully.
