New Shapers Around the World range from Boots

Boots Around the World lunch range

We’re trying to eat healthily here at Handbag Towers and we’re also watching our pennies by trying to bring our lunch into work every day. However, there are some days that we just can’t manage it and we need to nip out for lunch but don’t want to splurge on either calories or cash.

Fortunately, Boots have introduced the new Shapers Around the World range this January to tempt our taste buds while keeping our waistlines in check. We should all know by now that zesty seasoning and herbs help make food tasty in place of using copious amounts of sugar and salt to flavour food and this is the inspiration behind the new range.

Incorporating flavours such as lime leaves, broccoli stalk, daikon, tamarind raita and roasted mango the new sandwiches, wraps, salads and sushi provide a tasty, low calorie lunch without compromising on flavour.

If you’re watching your calorie intake then you’ll be pleased to know that all the sandwiches, wraps, salads and sushi are under 350 calories, though when you’re looking at the food labels be sure to check how much sugar as well as fat the product contains as sugar is the real enemy of our diets not fat.

We tried, and really enjoyed, the South African Style Chicken, Sweetcorn and Piri Piri Chilli Sandwich (£2.50) and the Vanilla Creamy Rice Dessert (90p). The drink, snack and sandwiches of the Shapers Around the World range are part of the less than 500 calorie Meal Deal.
